AFRICA’S TOUGHEST TOUR KICKS OFF TODAY

TOUR DU RWANDA kicks off this morning with thirty eight Top African riders, from eight African Nations competing on the World Stage, in the Land of 1000 Hills. Riders from twenty three different nations, riding in eight Continental Teams, four National teams, three Pro Teams and one World Tour Team. The Tour includes 8 stages, 914km and 16 347m of vertical elevation and runs from the 2 – 9 May 2021.

Today’s STAGE ONE – 115.6 km Kigali >> Rwamagana with the first KOM of the tour (Cat 3) 3.9% and 4km in distance @ 37km into the race. There are 2 Sprint Points opportunities at 49.9km and 88.9km.
