Maboundou Koné

 Maboundou Koné, the esteemed sprinter from the Ivory Coast, epitomizes excellence on the track. With a knack for speed and precision, Koné has left an indelible mark on the world stage of athletics. Her prowess was exemplified when she joined the Ivory Coast 4 by 100 meter relay team, propelling them to victory with a blistering time of 42.23 seconds at the prestigious Diamond League meeting in Lausanne.

At the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon, Gbai showcased her talent in the 200 meters event, clocking an impressive time of 22.82 seconds in the semi-final. However, it was her electrifying performance as part of the Ivory Coast 4 by 100 meter relay team that truly captured hearts and headlines. Together, they soared to victory, setting a new national record with a scintillating time of 42.23 seconds at the esteemed Diamond League meeting in Lausanne.

Following his recent spotlight in last week’s showcase, Letsile once again seizes the limelight, this time securing the coveted number one position in the African rankings for the 200-meter category.

Renowned for his explosive speed and fluid running style, Letsile has emerged as a beacon of promise in the realm of 200-meter sprints, solidifying his status as the continent’s top contender.

Joseph Fahnbulleh

 Joseph Fahnbulleh, the epitome of speed and excellence, has cemented his place as a prominent figure in the world of sprinting. Hailing from a Liberian-American background, Fahnbulleh’s journey to athletic stardom has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Fahnbulleh’s prowess on the track transcended borders when he proudly represented Liberia at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, where he made history as the nation’s flag bearer in the opening ceremony.

Luxolo Adams

 Luxolo Adams, the renowned South African sprinter, has left an indelible mark on the world of athletics with his remarkable speed and determination.

His journey to excellence began with a silver medal in the Men’s 200 meter at the inaugural Athletics World Cup in 2018, followed by a bronze medal at the African Championships later that year. However, it was his stellar performance at the Paris Diamond League in June 2022 that truly solidified his place among the sprinting elite. With a blistering personal best of 19.82 seconds, Adams emerged victorious, besting reigning Olympic champion Andre de Grasse and etching his name in South African history with the second-fastest time ever recorded.
